The treatment complex includes all the rooms where
methods of specific treatment based on natural therapeutic factors are applied:
carbonated mineral water,
gas, procedures of physical medicine and kinetic therapy
applied as spa treatment (therapeutic, recuperative,
primary prophylactic and secondary prophylactic). For the
spa treatment, the structure of the complex is as follows:
I. Reception area
at the first floor, provided with:

recuperation, physical medicine and spa medicine, three
offices on the second floor. There are three specialist
doctors and three nurses
specialised in general medicine working in these offices.

Kinetik terapy
The therapy based on
movement may be used in the following programmes: therapeutic; recuperative; prophylactic
(kinetic prophylaxis). A kinetic therapist is needed.

Electrotherapy
Physical therapy that uses different forms of
electric current (galvanic current, low frequency
current, medium frequency current, high frequency
current – short waves, microwaves, ultrasounds),
infrared, ultraviolet and laser radiation,
low-frequency magnetic fields. Specialised medical
personnel and physiotherapist nurses are needed.

Massage therapy
A range of manual actions performed on the skin. The
manual massage is given by specialised medical
personnel - masseurs or nurses, specialised in
massage therapy. The service is provided for two
sections, women and men, on the first floor. |

Hydrothermotherapy
Hydrotherapy,
external bath in carbonated mineral water for
therapeutic purposes, for the thermal, pressure and
biochemical factor (carbon dioxide dissolved in
water), for the gas bubble micro-massage that has as
effect the dilation of the blood vessels. The water
temperature is 32-34°C. The duration of the treatment
session is 15 minutes. Surveillance by bath
personnel, unqualified medical personnel, is
necessary.

individual bathtubs grouped in two sections, for
women and men, on the first floor.
Hydro-massage,
partial and general under water shower as water jet
under pressure projected by skin. The pressure of the
jet is 2-4kg/cm2. It is done by a nurse.

the first floor
Local thermal therapy
uses the temperature as a therapeutic factor which
can be transferred to the body by means of a thermal
support such as paraffin. The paraffin is applied as
a plate having the temperature of 50°C for about
15-20 minutes.
